one shot one kill veteran?

Does anyone have any tips on how to do one shot one kill on veteran? Its the part where you wait for the helicopter!!

I did that bit, by hiding in one of the little shack things around the place, I was in one of them in such a way that no nades could kill me. If any were close I threw them back though. But many piece of adivce don't stay out in the open and use you're claymores.
