There are going to be 3 Assassins Creed games. I'm not sure of the release date of the next one but it won't be any time soon, next year perhaps. Also the game may not be set in the same time period.

The company that created the game said (on a forum I read) that they might make a short/long movie sequel to the game.

I think jade raymond "the producer of the game" said AC2 will come out sometime in june but did not say a year hope this helps

I think it is coming. But I don't know for sure. Lets just hope it will. Just imagine assassins creed two.

I surely hope so, and with the ending from AC1, it would be silly not to make a sequel.
It will be at least another year before the next one, as most 360 games take 2-3 years to make.
