Getting Good Drafts after Winning the SuperbowlAdded 21 Feb 2011, ID #6992
In Franchise mode the downside about your team winning the Superbowl is that you will have the 32nd selection in the draft. This can be avoided by trading your draft picks for the draft picks of the team with the worst record just before the Week 6 trade deadline. The CPU will always accept this trade and that team will usually finish in the bottom 5 in the NFL standings. Another way to avoid drafting last is to wait until Week 17 and turn off the trade deadline in your Franchise mode settings. Make the swap for a guaranteed First Overall pick and then turn the deadline back on so that no CPU teams can take advantage.

At the main screen go to my madden, then go to creation zone. After you went to creation zone,go to create player. then create your player as a rookie and put his stats all the way up.After you are finished with your player go back to the main screen. Now go to game modes, then go to be an NFL superstar. After you went to be an NFL superstar go to play as NFL rookie and you will find the guy that you created at the top of the list of players.Click on him and start your season with a superstar with his stats all the way up.
Use the following process to get top players without losing any the valuable players in your squad. With the salary cap off, find a player you want (for example, Calvin Johnson). Select him, go to 'Edit Player', and change his status to a QB. When you do this his rating will drop to 12. Then press 'Start' and choose to keep the player without saving. Now when you trade your lowest rated WR for him the trade will be accepted allowing you to go back in and edit Calvin Johnson back to his proper position of WR.
