To unlock Tony Starks different Iron Man armour you must play Story mode to unlock 'One Man Army' missions. Completing 'One Man Army' missions will unlock a version of the Iron Man armour which can be used in further 'One Man Army' missions and completed missions in 'Mission Archive' mode.

Unlock Mark II Armour:
Complete the 'One Man Army vs. Ten Rings' mission which is unlocked after Story mode mission 3 (Stark Weapons).

Unlock Extremis Armour:
Complete the 'One Man Army vs. Maggia' mission which is unlocked after Story mode mission 4 (Maggia Factories).

Unlock Classic Armour:
Complete the 'One Man Army vs. Mercs' mission which is unlocked after Story mode mission 7 (Arctic Battle).

Unlock Classic Mark Armour:
Complete the 'One Man Army vs. AIM' mission which is unlocked after Story mode mission 8 (Lost Destroyer).

Unlock Hulkbuster Armour:
Complete the 'One Man Army vs. AIM-X' mission.

Unlock Silver Centurion Armour:
Complete the game
