An easy way to kill your opponent in Slayer is to get a ghost and when the opponent is directly in front of you use boost (Left Trigger) and run your opponent over. If the opponent doesn't move you should kill him/her.

Look guys....And with that I amassuming that most people looking at this are. Lets be honest. Any way I never posted on a site before so this may be scratchy. There is a very in depth walk through already on this site that tells you of the location and a means to aquire the "ghost" gold skull. Hear me out if you have viewed this and still are frustrated I can understand why it is not the best method. However use the walkthrough tips when you get to the ledge (assuming you have a deployable cover shield) drop it so that it stays on the ledge at the edge. After deployment jump on top of the shield and it makes easy passage to the top of the overhang where the skull is located. Save time and aggrivation THIS WORKS!

In forge mode you are able to kick opponents out of their vehicle. When in forge mode go up to a vehicle that is occupied and grab it. This will kick them out automatically and you can fly away with it. The vehicle will not take any damage while you are holding it so you can put it down and jump in. This is a great technique with the Banchees.

When faced against a Wraith or Scorpion and you have a Spartan Laser I would recommend to aim exactly where your opponent sits in the vehicle. This will kill them in one hit but leave they vehicle in working order.

I have found three flamethrowers throughout the campaign. I found these to be very useful against flood. Be careful or else you will get burnt yourself so fire from a distance. The flamethrowers are especially good against the flood soldiers, as they will drop with one fire shot. It is also good against the annoying crawling flood; just fire at the ground in front of you and when they get near they will pop. The first one is on the level Floodgate. Its at the start of a walk over pass just before you drop down into the room where Cortana talks.
The other two flamethrowers are found on the level Cortana. The first one is found near the start where the downed pelican is. Where you end up finishing the level.
The third one is found about halfway through the level. It is to the right of the circular opening just after Cortana talks to you and then you come across two-egg flood. It is in an opening of the ship, just jump in and walk down to the end where it will be beside a body.
Other than the flamethrowers I found duel wielding plasma rifles with either the sword or gravity hammer to be the best way to beat the flood.

If you happen to get Sandtrap as your map in matchmaking, get the Chopper. The Chopper is invincible to one-on-one attacks and can take a major beating from rockets, plasma, and granades.

I've noticed that there is a certain way of using the rockets that will guarentee kills in matchmaking.
If you are indeed in a Social matchmaking game and you happen to recieve "Rockets" as you game type, this trick may come in handy. When trying to kill an enemy on the opposing team, aim towards the ground near where they are standing. If you try to aim straight at them, it will sometimes work, but it will not guarentee the kill.
Aim towards the ground where the enemy is standing and I guarentee that you will kill the enemy.

In order for you to recieve the Katana that will be permantly attached to your character, you need to complete all the desired acheivements.
This will all add up to 1000 points.

When using the energy hammer in Halo 3, I found it useful to attack the other player further away instead of attacking them up close.
It has proved useful for me and my friends in matchmaking games.

Sorry, my last submission was mean't to be in the questions section. Also, if you mess up on trying to get a skull, you do not have to start the whole mission over again. In some situations, you can instead start from your last save point. Also if you want to activate skulls, make sure to click the ones you want to activate. Make sure you have those skulls.

Hello, I am spartan_r14, a new member on here. I know this is not a question, but if you are having trouble finding Halo 3 skulls, make sure first of all, you have the skulls turned on. Also, you need to start at the beginning of the mission. If your do not, the skulls will not be in their locations. My friend and I learned the hard way, wasting time. If those are not the problems, check with your Halo 3 disk.

This skull is easy to get, you just need to be on normal, heroic, or legendary. Go to the last level of Halo 3. At the very beginning walk along the right wall for a short distance. You should come to a dark cave like alley. At the very end there should be a skull on the ground. You may have to turn your flash light on to get it. I am not sure what the skull does yet but Im trying to find out. Well there you have it.
These skulls are simple to get really. You can be on any difficulty but easy. There are two skulls but I don't know if you have to get both of them. The first one is when you come to the first bunker like building. Looking at the bunker the skull will be on the far left on the edge of the rock by the ocean. This next skull is on the very last part where there should be a dam like bridge thing. As you walk along the dam go to the far right and there should be a box or somthing to jump on to. After you get on the box jump up on the window ledge. Then walk left all the way to the end and the skull will be there. There you have it. Oh and I don't think the first skull does anything.

Ive been playing on Xbox live for some time and I've been insulted a lot just for my skill in split second sniper kills and precision aiming. Therefore Ive decided to share this so called "secret". If you want to train in precision aiming, my suggestion is place a point of reference on the ground(eg. A crate or a box), run around it while still keeping the crosshair on the box. Try it a few times and get the hang of it. Remember, never let your crosshair leave your target. Also, when moving around, keep your crosshair at about head level so if a player comes into view, it will be easier to get a headshot. Happy practicing, don't give up.
