On the first level of Halo 3 on the elevator if you switch weapons with one of the marines twice he'll ask "You a dude right?"I tried to kill him but didn't feel like it.Trying switching weapons with other marines on different level to see what happens.This is like in Halo 2 when if you switch weapons with the serge on the second level he goes "That hurts Chief"

When you see a grunt smack it in the back then hit it in the face then the mask will fall off.


They do not look cute at all

On Halo 3, did you notice in matchmaking how you keep getting assassinated for some odd reason when you take your eyes off your motion sensor radar? It's one of the commonly overlooked things, I'll list them and maybe next time you'll take better heed in Halo 3 Matchmaking.

1. Your Radar is Your Friend
This is most commonly overlooked, hardly anyone pays much attention to their radar, thus making them get killed by people who are not stealthy when it comes to assassination. It also makes it hard to tell if someone is coming down the hall behind you when you're going the same way their going (as in, you're going away from them but they're going towards you) until you get shot by them or assassinated. In other words, until it's too late.

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Try to remember to focus on your radar when you're at a standstill or when going down a small hallway, this way you can't get easily assassinated without you knowing they're back there or you won't pass your enemy who is moving clumsily while camping and he kills you easy.

2. Energy Sword Wielders
People overlook that Energy Sword wielders are very dangerous, especially when they know how to make it so you can't see them on radar. People always think that the Energy Sword is one of the crappiest weapons in game when actually it's a power weapon by default (as in, you can get one hit killed by it even if it's not to your back). Why is this overlooked? People kill them likewise with a long ranged power weapon or assassination when they least expect it.

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Stay your distance from these bad boys, don't go rushing in madly while shooting, this just tells them to rush in to you and lunge strike. Also, if you know the guy wielding the Energy Sword is clever to avoid being detected by the Motion Radar (like I am), then you must be extremely vigilant, if you see them, start back-peddling and shooting at the same time, but keep your target so you can kill him before he can even get in range to lunge.

3. Spartan Lasers
Even though these weapons are very slow at firing and hardly anyone uses them unless facing a slow and heavy vehicle like a Scorpion, is someone can moving aim fire with these, it means trouble for your team (or a good thing, depends if he's on your team or not). So yes, Spartan Lasers are overlooked often, that is until you get lasered.

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Try to keep an eye out for that little red line that tells you they're charging to fire at you. If you see it, find some cover fast before they get a chance to move aim and shoot you perfectly.

4. Light Vehicles Like the Warthog
Everyone loves it when a vehicle can't hit them because they know they can jump over it to avoid it, however, what happens when you don't realize it, but you're not looking at your radar and being cocky? When someone is trying to splatter you all over the wall with a light vehicle, it can be hard to keep an eye out for someone who will come up to you and just melee you in the back of the head, or if the light vehicle does something I call "V-Assassination".

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Try to hijack the drivers side so you can drive the rest of them off a cliff if you know how to tip it off, otherwise, just drive around until they jump out, then try to do the same to them as they were doing to you, splatter them. Also, while avoiding a light vehicle, try to keep an eye out for snipers/assassins/other vehicles so you don't end up killed. While just minding your own business, killing people left and right, don't be a fool and take your eyes off the radar (as said in number 1), a vehicle may be quiet enough to sneak to a position where it can boost splatter and V-Assassinate.

5. Missile Pods
Missile Pods are probably the most dangerous power weapon in game, however, people don't exactly think that unless they're in a vehicle, something it can lock on to. It's stupid to think that a Missile Pod can't hit a player out of a vehicle, in fact, a Missile Pod is a Rocket Launcher from Halo 2. Once someone can get a decent hit to you with a Missile Pod, then you know you're dead.

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Just make sure someone snipes him before you go towards him, or try no scope sniping him so he can't hit you with that damned weapon. Either that, or try to get behind him, otherwise, all I can say is do the strategy you do with a normal Rocket Launcher, jump over the rocket.

6. Your Back Open While Sniping
While sniping, it's tempting to go to an edge to snipe out people if you're really good at it, however, this opens up your back unless your back is against someone else's and they are sniping too. This makes assassinating you easier, for the fact that your range sight is limited, and you won't have enough time to react to someone shooting at your back if you only have the Sniper Rifle or Energy Rifle and Assault Rifle or some other crappy, short-range weapon.

Tip to Avoid Overlooking: Try to make sure your back is against something first, so no one can get behind you (since you cannot see your motion radar), and make sure every once in a while, you make sure no one is coming up to where you are by getting out of sniper scope, and looking around. Also, if you really need to go over and peer over the edge to snipe, make sure you have a good long range weapon (I.E., Rocket Launcher) so you can react to someone shooting at your back faster.

Those are all of my tips that I can provide right now, I'm sure I can get a few more. I don't necessarily play Halo 3, but I do play Halo 2, and when I go over to my friends house, Halo 3, so some of this stuff has happened to me.

One way to kill an enemy effectively is to punch your target once and then move away from your enemy as you shoot at him or her with an auto or semi-automatic gun. However if you wish to ambush your enemy then what you want to do is to first shoot with an auto or semi-automatic gun and then you punch your target.

You need a headset to do this. Simply find somebody else with a headset in matchmaking and ask them to let you run them over in exchange for them killing you to get an achievement. Don't sound like a jerk though or they won't do it. This is an I help you, you help me sort of thing!

Ok guys this is really long. First go to the first level, Sierra 117, go to the end part were the gravity hammer guy is. When you are near that part, run past everything! Then there will be a Phantom and a building. Hop on the building, kill the gunner of the phantom. Take the turret and hold on to it. Then when you are on the phantom it will move so when it stops let go of the turret then attach to it again.(so it will move again) Then after it moves you will be in this really weird glitched area! And if you backtrack to the map (dont go into it) and you scale the cliff you will eventually find a hidden monkey. If you need help add my friends and me, well help you. Right on the part where you touch medal search the ground for the flamethrower.

On the level sieara 117 (cant spell) go to the place where you find johnsons crashed ship just jump and walk to the pack of grunts one of them says something and it is holding two active plasma gernade it is running towards you run as fast as you can! Take note that I did this on normal

If you go to the level Crow's nest, and go into the room that looks like a coal mine, you can find rats crawling around in the corners. You can kill them too.

Have you ever been in a sword fight and none of you can win. Well I know how to easily win a sword fight.

Alright ther are actualy to methods to this skill.

If you do this correctly, you should win.



P.s if they know this to, it could come out as a normal sword fight were it is hard to win.
If this happens, keep looking at you enemy and jump over him/her. When right above him/her, attack.
Always keep an aim on them

Play the misson "the covenant" on any difficulty except legendary,at the part where you fly a hornet, destroy the AA wraith closest to you (not the one on the island). Land where the AA wraith was and get out. Instead of going in the tower, go over to te tree next to the rock, go behind the rock, then there should be a supply case with a fuel rod cannon in it!To get to the hiding spot, jump onto the rock and then jump on the platform in front of you.This hiding spot gives you a clear shot on almost any brute.

If your fighting a tough enemy like a brute, just throw down a spike grenade, then throw down a bubble shield. The spikes will rikochet off the bubble shield and repeatedly hit the brute.

You have to put a bunch of fusion coils, and plasma batteries on on side of the elephant and shoot them. And note you have to be in the forge menu on the sandtrap level. Me and my roommate found this out. And we don't know when but we are going to try to put it on PhotoBucket

On the last level of halo 3 you will get a warthog, drive the warthog to the end of the path where the edge is and there will be a small path to the left. O on the psmall path and you will come to a mongoose.(Warning:The mongoose is easily flipped but is very fast).

If you want to get ovverkill or something go to forge, pick a place and get rid of all the respawn points except for one of them
Kill your opponent and stand beside the last respawn with an energy sword
Once your enemy comes back to life kill him/her
Keep doing this and your sure to get it.
I got over 200 kills on my opponent in 2 mins and made go of sulking (ha ha)
This worked for me so it'll work for you

There are certain stages in Halo 3 campaign that can leave you in the dust. Therefore, I'm here to supply you with tips to snapping Truth's neck.

1. Always have at least 1 battery weapon(Gravity Hammer and Plasma Sword count) and at least one rifle: a plasma weapon(or SMG) to destroy shields, and a ballistic weapon to cut through armor and flesh.

2. Watch your supply of grenades, as well as that of those around you. While spike grenades are plentiful from Crow's Nest(level 2) onward, plasma grenades can only be taken from Grunts, and frag grenades from Marine strongholds. There is a difference between sticky grenades- plasma grenades have a wider kill radius, spike grenades are heavier and don't fly as far, and fireball grenades explode on contact with the enemy.

3 Give your best weapons to your Marines. While you may be a great shot, you don't have unlimited ammo; AI's do. I once gave my Marine a SP'laser fighting against two Scarabs, and when he died after five minutes of battle and I went to retrieve it, it had actually GAINED charge- from the original 80 to 87!
And if that sounds cool, Marines using lasers to attack vehicles kill the pilot first almost every time!

Hey!! To anyone reading this, have you ever wanted to find the skulls so badly, but yet you can't find them? Well an easy (or difficult) solution to your problem is right in front of you on the main menu. After you have completed a level in the campaign mode you can go back to the main menu and select the Theater Lobby and view the clip of the level. Once viewing it hit the 'Y' button to roam around the clip and look for the skull. This easy and effective tip worked for me and I hope it works for you, happy hunting.

For Recon Armor (custom armor) you will have to be on Bungie favorites (online)

In order to get all the scout chest peice (custom armor) get the Achievment Mongoose mowdown

In the level right after the crows nest you should be able to drive a wart hog.
Drive threw the level and when you see a brute with a gun that fires green bazzuka like bullets kill him and take his gun. Now go to the passenger side and tell the dude to get out get out your gun you took from the brute and trade guns with the dude in the passenger seat of your hog. Now get to the drivers seat and get in. The guy you gave the gun to will now have unlimited bullets and will be a great fighter. You can also do this combo in the 8th mission too.

Unfortunetly I didnt find the glitch my bro did =[ but it was cool. First go to the 8th lvl the covanent and when you get to the place where you deactavate the last shield thing you are there. Kill all the zombie dudes when they pop up and head to the elevator. Click on RB to activate the elivator then get off it and let it go down wait 2 seconds and hop towrds the blue light. You should be standing in mid air and you can walk a foot or too in mid air without falling
(NOTE: it might not work on 1 player campain, we did it on 2 player, my brother and i)

If you have a gravity hammer and a rocket, gernade is throw/ fired at your and you have a gravity hammer just click on RB and if you timed it right the gernade/rocket will be deflected and flung above or to the right or left of you dapending on how early you swung the hammer.

In the first level when you get to the part when your two pelacans are being shot at you are at the right part. You kill the brut at the turret close to the water so he can't shoot you. You can jump in the water and walk around freely just don't walk off the broken damn wall. Sometimes one of the pelicans drop a turet(lucky you). This helps in ways like when you are under the water you can't get shot at, and you grab the turet (200 bullets are in it) and can jump out of the water and you get around 1-2 seconds of fire off maybe alittle less. I do that when I am doing the meta game. If you are too lasy to jump up and fire at grunts,bruts, and the shield dudes then walk behind you on the rocks on the other side of the river and shoot from there (NOTE: YOU CAN GET STUCK IN THE ROCKS SOMETIMES SO DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK) or you can go up to the damn wall climb out an shoot the enemys from behind too

This is very useful if you like playing chicken with your friends. Right after you destroy the power core on the scarab go to the top of the scarab, right under gun.YOU NEED A BUBBLE SHIELD FOR THIS TO WORK!. Just as it's about to blow, like when you hear that noise deploy you bubble shield. If you do it right you'll surive if not, welll the outcome is easy to figure out.

The scarab cannon. It's very fun to do except for the part where you die.i found this out by accident when I wanted to see how quick I could kill both the scarabs on The Covenate. You first need a warthog, you can get one when you have the choice between it,a tank and a mongoose. When you get to where you can get the hornets DON'T SLOW DOWN, you need to drive off the edge hit the cliff and you land safly, by now the scarbas will be comeing down. Drive two the one on the right and drive onto it from the cliff infront it. Ditch your hog and get to the power core. If you destroy it before the scarab can move it's leg you will be launched. It's better to view it in theater so you can see what happens slowly. Have fun and try some interesting stuff!

Go to sandtrap on forge mode, then make a drop pod(don't drop it yet) and get it into the cockpit. Still holding the drop pod, fly around to the front of the Elephant(keeping the pod in the cokpit), and face it. Fly up, and you will lift the elephant. Turn the pod by holding R and spinning the right stick, this should spin the ele, and then either delete the pod or drop it.

Ok on the mission halo when you can see the frigate you will pass through a rock arch stop in the middle of the arch and on the right side there will be a littli bit of floor you can walk on go on it[make sure the arbiter cannot see you or he will shoot the grunt] and there he is just doin grunt stuff on the ledge ad you can stay there as long as you want cause that part of the thing WONT FALL happy gaming:)

Okay, when you first play Halo 3, you like the assault rifle because it's automatic, right? Well, I think it's only good for grunts and close range jackels. Also, everybody makes fun of the guy that uses the plasma pistol. The plasma pistol can quickly drain a guy's shields instantly!!! It's a great weapon if you know how to use it. The carbine is an amazing weapon against any enemy.(1 hit kills with grunts.) The brute shot is nice, but only 18 rounds isn't going to take you anywhere unless you have a good, longrange weapon along with it. The gravity hammer is, I'll admit, a beast, so pick it up if it has a good reserve of ammo.

Whenever you attack a Flood "monster" with a blade (brute shot melee or energy sword attack) in a spot with no armor, it will be a 1-hit kill. That makes it easy to take out the charging Flood aliens.

Play infection in custm games on narrows... First go to the waterfall then you will see stacked boxes jump over them to find a teleporter. Go into it. It will teleport you straight to Valhalla's snow part. When you are the last man standing the zombies will come and try to get you but they die in one shot or so, so stay there and keep fending them off...

Okay so if your playing on Legendary one thing you should know is to never take on more than one brute cause you will die in an instant. Also use whatever supplies they give you. Hope I helped some people.

MVP

- It's pretty easy to get this achievement. Go in a ranked Team Doubles match and try to do your best. Just get the most kills, and you are the MVP.

Used Car Salesman

- Go into the Ark and get a Rocket Launcher near a broken ship. Shortly after Brutes will be in vehicles.Throw a grenade making the vehicle weak than finish it with the Rocket Laucher. I would not try this in multiplayer, as it is much harder in Matchmaking.

Too Close to the Sun

Burritosenior- This is best obtained through the campaign level the 'Covenant'. Start at the beginning and play until you destroy the first anti air wraith(almost at the very beginning of the level). After that, a pelican will drop off a warthog. In front of it will be two banshees flying in the air. All you must do is shoot one with your spartan laser.

Maybe Next Time Buddy

- This is one of the few achievements that can be aquired in Rumble Pit. However, it is still simple to achieve in Lone Wolves. I suggest that you go on the map Snowbound. Get in a vehicle, and just try to get some points. At one point, someone will try to board your vehicle. Quickly after that happens, try to get that player to go after you. Jump while the vehicle comes toward you. You should be given the option to board that players vehicle. Board it, and achievement unlocked.

Lee R Wilson Memorial

- The best map to get this on is Construct. Get some sticky grenades and go to the top floor on the map. Just stay there for the whole entire game and stick people.

Triple Kill

- This map can easily be achieved in some of the following maps: Construct (Slayer), Snowbound (Swords), Guardian (Swords), and The Pit (Swords). Swords is the best gametype to get this on.

Overkill

- This can easily be done in any Swords game, but it can also be done while playing Oddball on Guardian. If you are playing Swords, throw a grenade at a group of people who are fighting. After that, you can either throw another grenade at other people OR you can use your Sword.

Playing Oddball on Guardian is another way to get it. Just get the Oddball. People will come after you. You know what to do.

Steppin' Razor

- The best map to get this achievement is The Pit. The best gametypes to get this in are King of the Hill and Swords. In King of the Hill on The Pit, go the Sword Room and get the Sword. Go towards the hill. All the enemies should be there. If you can get three of them, you can get the achievement.

Mongoose Mowdown

- This achievement is easily achieved in Isolation. Spend your time on the Mongoose. People will usually try to camp in the Shotgun area. Go over there at a fast speed, and you should get them. Achievement unlocked.

We’re in for some Chop

- Go in the level Tsavo Highway. Continue in the level until you see a Fuel Rod. Once you see the Fuel Rod, take it, and look around the area for a Trip Mine (it will be in/near what appears to be a base). Once you got everything, don't use it. Continue on until you see Brutes in Choppers. Shoot your Fuel Rod at the Chopper, but don't destroy it (you can also try to use a Plasma Pistol, just charge it up, and fire at the Chopper). Then, when the Chopper comes at you, throw the Trip Mine. Achievement Unlocked.

Killing Frenzy

- I will tell you how I got this achievement. I was on Epitaph. I had the Gravity Hammer and the Shotgun. I stayed on the outside part of the map, and just waited for the enemies. After killing ten of them, I got my achievement.

Two for One

- The best map to get Two for One is High Ground. Simply go up and get the Spartan Laser. Be patient. You need to wait until two or more enemies are fighting each other at a close range. Charge up the laser, and aim at one of them. That person MIGHT try to melee the other person. That is time to get them. Achievement Unlocked.

Headshot Honcho

- This achievement is easy to get in the campaign level The Ark. You start out with a Sniper Rifle. Simply get a headshot on ten enemies, and you will have the achievement. It is harder to get in matchmaking, however it is quiet easy in the map The Pit.

Fear the Pink Mist

- This is pretty easy to get. Just go on Sierra 117 and get the Needler. Kill five of the enemies, and you will get the achievement.

Up Close and Personal

- You get this on almost any map in matchmaking. Just melee five enemies, and you will get the achievement.

Graduate

- Simply get some EXP (you can also just play a few games in matchmaking). NOTE: OTK cannot help you out if your Graduate achievement is glitched. Sorry.

UNSC Spartan

- Simply get 20 EXP to get this achievement.

Spartan Officer

Get a highest skill level of 10 or above, and get 70 EXP.

If you are playing team duals try to pair up with someone. One person should get a mauler and a SMG. The other person should get a plasma pistol and SMG. The person with the mauler can deal with close range and the plasma pistol can deal with people at a distance. But always make sure no matter what gun you have, that you are always shooting them with your SMG. This hint was created and used by "The Donkey's Mohawk".

How to get Highest skill. You have to play ranked matches to get it. And you can on ly play one player on those and you can't have a guest either..

Ok here is how to be invincible!

1.first go into forge,it dosent matter what map.
2.Go into the market place and buy the overshield.
3.Put it down and press x twice,go to the run-time and put it on the maximum.
4.As long as you stay in the same place you cant'e be killed.

P.S. The only bad thing is that the grafity hammer will knock you out of place.

You need to get conteirs staked and grende jump on them and when you do that you grende jump out of the stage.

You need four players in campain mode and go to the place where you find the termial and where you see the piller and grende jump onto it an there will be a area to croach in to it and look straight in to the croner.

On matchmaking whenever you get a chance get a recharger. They are very helpful when fighting a crowd of people. As soon as your health flashes red drop the recharger and you will be almost unkillable. Be careful though. You can still be killed by getting stuck,sniped,lasered,or assainated
