Glowing
Always be on the lookout for glowing yellow/orange spots on your enemies. On near all the bosses, these are the spots to hit. By this point, the best weapon you could use is a Pulse Rifle, because on others you run a risk of missing. Since Pulse Rifles have so many rounds and rapid fire, it doesn't matter if you miss a round or two.
