Question for Ninja Gaiden

How do you play successive mode on Ninja Gaiden where you have a chance to get the dark dragon blade? Please someone help I need to know.

Sorry to tell you, you never get the dark dragon blade you only get the plasma blade. Alos, to get that just hold the left trigger when you start a new game.
