Question for Ninja Gaiden

I'm at the part where you're almost facing the skeleton dino thingy... anyways, I have to get the holy grail (the cup) and I get it right with the Vigoorian flare but when I do the zombies come. How do I beat them? They're everywhere and I can't beat all of them. I mean I only beat a little but how do you beat all of them??? Please help me.

The easiest thing to do is to cut their head off with A+Y buttons which makes them blind ,obviously, and then attack them like any other fiend just watch out for the archers and their swings.
