Date of Question: Jun 7 2004 | Question ID: 3813 How do I get past the security trolls in the North wing, when I need to get into the Gryffindor common room? I have tried with the dungbomb method, but the first troll ( I know there's another one around the corner) see me before I get past the bookshelves...

Throw the dung bombs toward the troll, before he can see you, when they start to walk toward the dung bomb, you can walk right pass them.

The other answer is correct to a point. After you throw the dungbombs to the first troll, run as fast as you can behind the other bookself.
Yes, you can see the second troll but I promise he can't see you because he doesn't look that way.
Seach as many of the bookshelves as possible so you can get enough dungbombs.
After you pass the second troll, run to hind behind the first set of bookshelves that you see.
Throw the dungbombs at the troll, and go to the other side of the bookshelves you were just on. Then pass the other troll the same way.
If I am remembering correctly there should only be about four trolls.
