I just got a gold and purple colored banshee but I have no idea how I got it. I remember beating the game a long time ago then I went back to a level and the banshee is gold and purple. I swear I didn't use a mod or glitch it just happened a half hour ago. Do you know what I could have done to get that?

I got that once too. I didnt use a mod either, I don't know how it happend but it did. Not complaining though.
Hmmm I'm not to sure myself, I beat the game a lot of times, and I never had one that colour, maybe it's just your game.
The gold and purple banshees are in the Arbiter and the Oracle levels yeah? They're just the banshees made by the heritics, it's not a glitch or anything. They've been that way since the beginning of the game.
I know but this one is mostly gold with dots of purple. The only way I think I got it was owning tons of people on Xbox Live.
What level were you on plz 'cos there is a way to get a heretic banshee on the last level (i'm not too sure how but I think you had to go through it without letting the scarab get hit) if this is the level you were on then chances are the above happened, however if you were on a different level then I haven't a clue

It is the Heretic banshee. All the Heretics have a little different armor and they are yellowish purple.
If you mean the level Great Journey than I can hel you out there.
After sarge.johnson gets in the scarab(after the cut sceen)then take a banshee and take out the three wraiths at the biggining and right after that, get on the scarab and go to where the shield is and wait about three minutes. After that go out of the scarab and go back a little and you WILL find a heritik(spelling)banshee
It's the heritec banshee heritics look different for your average elites almost ever thing ecxept weapons are different. Banshees, phantoms, armor.
