Question for Halo 2

I just bought the game today and I was trying to play the co-op with a friend of mine. It wasnt through xbox live. After we set it up it went back to the screen while you wait to enter the level and it said "You failed to load the map." So I am wanting to know, how do I set up the co-op mode correctly?

Don't worry that's just a loading error.Just clean the disc a bit or try to load it a bit later and it should load the map. ; )

Clean the disk and try again.

Make sure 2 player controller is in.

Whenever it says that. It means that either your Xbox didn't load your map or something else. Mine said that one time but it was because I had something on my disc.There is no special way to set it up.

I know but I have the clue. I had quarantine zone and highcharity level not work(campain)so I tried it on co op and it had the same problem.Get the miner disk cleaner for your disc(if it is damaged) and try it again.If not I have nothing to tell you.
