How do you unlock the extra multiplayer level I beat the last level on legendary and I didn't get the level?

The only thing of unlocking things is that you can have level select only on the levels you've completed and that's it. You don't unlock things on Halo or Halo 2.
I heard that you have to download extra multiplayer levels via Xbox live.
You have to beat it on heroic or finish the last level on heroic.
Well, all you have to do is get to the last level when your the orbator and get in the banshee the part with the scarab.
Don't do any tricks till it tells you how too I think this is how I got it.
Try and you can, there is alot of stuff you can do in halo 2 the extra level is called foundation.
