When you recieve a pilots license after completing flying school, most of the planes are unlocked.

This also applies to helecopters.

To unlock planes and other aircrafts you have to complete the main mission's until you work for a guy named "Toreno" during his missions you will go to flying school. You must complete all the missions in flying school to get your pilot's liscence and continue the storyline.
After you get your pilot's liscence you will be granted access to airports and aircrafts. Hope that Helped.

I don't think so, not without cheating.

I'd like to add that you have a million P.S.'s... P.S. Stands for Post Script. (meaning: After the Text) if you have a post script after a post script, it becomes a post-post script... So you are supposed to write P.P.S, not P.S.S. A Post Script Script is basically just another paragraph or letter or text. And so on for a Post-Post-Post Script. (P.P.P.S.) etc... ;)

Ding Dong Ding Dong... Today's lesson is over, class, you may now go home! (I'm totally kidding!)

I really don't think you can use them. At least not whe I played, you couldnt... But that was ages ago.

The hardest way is by obtaining the pilot license by completing the flying school in the Airport Graveyard (which you must buy on the mission called Verdant Meadows). And for your information it costs 80,000 dollars to buy.

Another way is in Los Santos - at the little booth where the man stands to see if you have your license walk back a bit from the booth. Then Sprint towards it and Press Square (to jump). You should get onto the top of the booth and jump over the fence.

If that doesn't work then goo to the wall on the right of the booth, get a high-roofed car, then jump onto the car and jump over the wall.

And the Shamal (Jet) can be found at the top of the runway. (West of the map)

-Hope that helped.

In orderforyou to be able to get into the locked planes/helicopters, you'll need to get your pilots license from the flight school located in the boneyard.
