Ages of might makes your health bar go up and the skill potions raise your experiance for that skill.
No masta sword is wrong. Elixer of life makes your health bar go up. Ages of might gives you 100 strength experience, but if you have a high multipyer you get heeps of experience e.g. If you have a combat multiplyer of 12 you will get 1200 from drinking the ages of might. Exactly the same as ages of skill except it gives you skill experience, you can get ones for will aswell.
Well, it is like FableNConkerFreak said. If you drink an Elixir of Life potion, then your health bar will go up a lot. If you decide to drink an Ages of Might potion, then you will get exactly 100 Experience Points. Now, unless you are just starting out in your quest, 100 points is not that useful. However, there is a way that you can increase the Experience Points that you receive by drinking the potion. All you have to do is kill monsters, and raise your combat multiplier. Say your combat Multiplier is at 276 after you killed a bunch of undead at the Lynchfield Grave Yard. Then if you drank the potion right then, you would receive a whopping 276,000 experience points. Useful right?
Hope this helps.
