No. It is physically impossible because you have cast the sword into the vortex and you seal it in the bonds of time forever (or something along those line anyway)!!!
You can not get the sword after you throw it in the Vortex sorry.
Yes you can.... (i think) I only think cause there is somthing that I heard about how you can get multiple swords. Beat jack, hero save, then skip the credits and go back and beat him again, I'm not sure if this works couse I never tried.
