If you want to know what gender your kid is before your sim gives birth, what you do is you keep on clicking and deleting wishes that your sim has until you see one that says have a boy or have a girl (they're worth 5000) and you keep it. When your sim goes to the hospital and has the kid, the wish will light up if your kids gender matches the gender your sim wished for. For example, if I click on the wish for have a girl, i will know if my sim is a girl because the wish will light up right before i name my sim. If its a boy, it won't light up. Hope this helps!

i have a tip for people who have boys with girl names or girls with boy names; straight after you accept the note on your screen that you are being taken to the hospital, save the game (WHILE YOU ARE ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!!) so if you name your child wrong, you can just quit then load your game and name it again
