Date of Question: Dec 27 2007 | Question ID: 104124 What is the garage for in the comet observatory when I go there the luma says it can repair space ships bu I don't have a space ship! |

You do not need a spaceship. Later in the game,Rosalina will tell you that some toads escaped from Peach's castle. They have a spaceshipthat the luma's will help fix. Get a few more stars and the ship will be fixed. In future levels,either the toads will help you out a bit,or you must help them[ example:A sticky Situation Level.].
P.S: There will also be a mail toad just outside the garage who will sometimes give Mario letters from Peach. The letters will include 5 lives.

You get the garage unlocked when you rescue some toads that escaped from princess peaches castle.

The garage is the place where the starshroom is being built. The starshroom is an starship with the shape and colors of a mushroom. Pretty odd, huh?
