It'll say something about moving that person in instead of elmira say yes
Or you can wait til she comes back

Wait till elmira comes back and make her stay

Guest answered:

u can use ur relashonship book to invite Elmira back. then move her in.

also, if when u select 'ask to move in', a slide comes up asking if you want to move in that sim instead of Elmira, u can hit 'yes'.

Guest answered:

Omg I'm having the same problem it's ridiculous. And when you say move in a sim instead of elmira it doesnt let you?? Yeahh must be a glitch. I just stopped playing.

Guest answered:

Yes look in the relationship book and a little picture of a house and a arrows there. Click on it and go to sleep and wait until the next day. A little notice will come up saying 'Elmira's back' and go to the hotel and she's there!
