I just started playing this game and beat freeza with super saiyan goku, but I cannot select him in duel mode. It asks me which color I want (1 - 4) but no mater what number I click on, nothing happens. Can anyone help?

Color does not matter with super sayian all you need to do is to go to any game mode like duel, and press control pad up or down while the curser is on goku and he will be a super saiyan note you can do this with super saiyan as long as you have unlocked it for that character hope I helped
Move you're main control out of the tvs range, after that just press the A button. I used to have that problem too.
Move you're control away from the screen like to the side then press the A button.
