I can't beat the Great Ape's in Tortaments and stuff like that. How can I win without them knock me out of bounds or K.O'ing me?

Well, since Great Apes have the ability to knock you pretty far, you should Ki-based attacks, such as kamehameha, Masenko, ECT. But for the love of god, do NOT charge at him with a dragon dash, or any attack that Dragon Dashes, because when you touch him with moves like that, you will bounce right off, and chances are that you wil ring out, so just kill them quickly with an ultimate blast (that isnt DRAGON DASH).

Okay whenever they hit you hard enough push the floating button so itll prevent you from falling out and then try to push them out

I'm still learning the controls but from my experiance with older dragn ball z budokai games i'd suggest using gohan , goten , or kid trunks the shorter the better. My friend and I discovered that the smalleer the midget the harder it is to hit.

Here are some ppl that (I THINK)can knock back the apes.(at least a little)the results might not be as good as you thought,but I hope it helps.heres the list:super saiyan4 goku,super saiyan 4 vegeta,super saiyan 3 goku,and.......thats all I've got.in addition, like the 2nd comment,try to use ki based moves.i recommend SS3 goku, cause hes got AWESOME blast 2s.

Well you should use, goku 3,4 vegita 4, gogita, vegtio, and when you unlock broly and all his forms that also should be pretty easy
