Tales of Symphonia is another game in the long lasting "Tales of" series. Each of these games tends to have an interesting plot and a great battle system. It is no different here with Tales of Symphonia. There are many plot twists and things that will leave you shocked.
This game has beautiful cel-shaded graphics. The cinematics are great, along with the character design. Most of the things here has alot of detail. Which makes it seem all the more real. However, the monsters that you see when you are walking around the world have only two different shapes, and basically look like big blobs.
This game has an excellent score. The music tends to fit almost perfect with what is going on. However, there are a few sounds in the game that almost make no sense being in that part of the game. The voice overs in the game turned out to be very good.
The plot and battle system here are stunning. The plot may have a few of the same things used in previous games, but still it is great. The battle system is both crazy and fun. The system is unique in almost every way. Your enemy might not be the smartest out there but still it gives a fresh challenge each time.
There is many hours of game play to go through here. This is both good and bad. Good in the sense that it is fun to play through and many things to do. Bad in the sense that it will get boring. Last, there are almost way to many things to collect here.
Tales of Symphonia is another strong title in it's series. It gives a great plot, and a very fun battle system. It gives a great cast of both heroes and villians. Each of which bring something new to the game. There are a few parts that could have been a bit better, but little problems aside this a great game.
