Introduction

You start off by creating a name. The next step is do your clothing, your hair, and all that stuff. After that, you get to choose your pet, a dog or a cat. You can pick a breed, or you can cross-breed by selecting them. At the end, you get to do the small details your pet has, like how big the head is and how long the tail is. Basically, you're a town veternarian that takes care of other people's pets. You can choose to take care of them or you can tell them to go to a specialist, which means you don't feel like taking care of them.

Graphics

This game has terrible graphics! The Sims don't even move their mouths, when the sims take a shower or use the toilet, they just stand in front of it and it just raises the motives without any animation of what they're doing. Their fingers? They don't even have fingers! They're like little rectangles glued together. When you cook food, they don't even eat at a dining table.

Sound

The sound is O.K. Atleast it makes sounds when a customer comes. The music is good, but it gets old really fast. When they talk, it sounds alright, but a lot worse than previous sims games. There's not much to say about the sound, as it not very interesting in this game.

Gameplay

Bleh! This is not a very good game. I mean, on The Sims Unleashed Expansion Pack for the PC came out, I was excited because I wanted a pet in the game. I thought the same with The Sims 2 Pets, but no, you have to take care of other people's pets. The fact that I am a vet and I can't go anywhere else except the park, is very frustrating and makes the game boring. I mean, there isn't even a Fun Motive in the game! Which eliminates the TV, Pool, or even the Jacuzzi!

Lastability

When I first got the game I was like, meh, it's pretty fun. I played for about 2 hours and I was done because I hated the fact where you had to take care of other people's pets. It just depends on your personalities. For all you Sims fans out there, I am one, and this disappointed me a lot. This game didn't even last a day for me...

Overall

A terrible game that EA Games and Maxis shouldn't have bothered thinking about making. Now I am frustrated because I can't find the receipt for the game. If you want to be a vet when you grow up, then sure buy this game, but it's not very fun. The graphics are bad, the gameplay isn't addicting, and it becomes repetitive very fast. Buy it if you want to waste your money or add something to your sims collection.
