How to cook
Very new to this game, and totally frustrated. My vet is going to die soon if I don't manage to feed her successfully. I just don't seem to be able to cook her even an egg, without it either being inedible,a complete mess,weird or burnt. Have tried jiggling the pan, but no matter what time I give the food to cook, it's no good, so the hunger is never quenched.
Also, when I go to greet a patient, sometimes there's somebody else stood there with no pet. Who and what are they doing?

I don't know which person you need to cook for but here's how to cook for a sim and a pet.
Sim: First look around in the house for the stove. Click on it then click cook. Put in the egg then press the button that looks like a pan. You should start cooking. Look on the top left corner and you'll see a few circles next to it. Wait until 2 circles turn green. Then click the check button and it will say how you did.
Dog/Cat:
Look for that huge blue box that's touching the wall. Click open and press select on that pet. Bring it to the nearest thing (Forgot what it's called) and press thething that looks like pooring food then click yummy bites and press use. Your pet should start eating.
Anyways, isn't that person who's standing there with no pet your sim?

You can get a fridge or microwave from the plumbing store and then click on it. One of the options will be snack. Click on that.

Go to the oven and press recipe it will tell you how to cook whatever meal you want that you have the recipe for. If you want to get simple just click the egg and click the pan button. Move the pan around to cool it or to heat it up. Try to keep the meter on 8 and stop when the two green dots appear you either get culinary perfection or almost perfect.

None of these answers are helpful, I can't cook for my person either. I don't get how to do it, my person spits it out and passe out
