In Subnautica Fragments are broken pieces of advanced technology that can be analysed by the Scanner to create Blueprints. You will be able to find Fragments scattered throughout the various biomes and the Degasi Seabases and once you have collected the required number of a particular fragment you will acquire the corresponding blueprint. Once you have the blueprint scanning a Fragment will convert it into two pieces of Titanium.
