The Seaglide is a handheld deployable vehicle which does not involve using any rare metals to build, you will need a Survival Knife, Scanner, and one or two Tanks of O2. The fragments for the Seaglide can be found at the kelp biome on some of the small arid beds filled with grass. While looking for the fragments you need to be avoid any bleeders and stalkers that may be in the area. The blueprint for the Seaglide is obtained by scanning two Seaglide fragments.

The materials needed to build the Seaglide are 3 Copper, 4 Acid Shrooms, 1 Titanium, and 5 Creep Vine Seed Clusters. By going to the safe shallows you will be able to find Copper in limestone outrcroppings and Acid Shrooms by searching the ocean floor there. Titanium and Creepvine Seed Clusters you will be able to find in the Kelp forest while searching for Seaglide fragments.

Once you have all the required materials you will need the following parts; 1 Powercell, 1 Titanium, 1 Copper Wire, and 1 Lubricant to be able to craft the Seaglide using the Fabricator. The Seaglide will occupy six slots in your inventory and it has a top speed of 18.5 knots (21 mph, 34 kph). It also possesses a small 3D map of the immediate terrain and a flashlight that can be toggled on and off.
