Full Review for Star Wars: Battlefront by MenaceSG

Introduction

When you hear about the Star Wars universe, what do you mostly think of? The Jedi and the Sith,right? What if you were just and ordinary person? What would that be like? In Star Wars Battlefront, you no longer take on the roles of the Jedi or even the Sith. You take ththe roles of average people(or in some cases droids or clones) and fight for a universe that is going to break under the chaos of war. The new features allow you to truly feel like you are the one who will save the galaxy. With little more then courage and honor, you will use these and more as you take on what seems like overwhelming odds against you. The choices are set, the battlefields are ready for destruction. Who will you fight for?

Graphics

Insane graphics!! That's all I can say about this game is that is has the best graphics on a Star Wars game I have seen thus far. Pure colours and more allow you to truly feel like you are in the battlescenes. Along with stunning visual and realistic ships, guns, vehicles, and battlefields, the game also features first and third person veiwing. If you want to see what your guy looks like, or you want to see what's right in front of you, the graphics help bring the edge in artistic levels beyond imagine. I give the graphics an eight out of ten for a superb job.

Sound

What can I say about the sound except that it is once again the best work ever created for the Star Wars universe. I give credit to George Lucas for picking John Williams and his orchestra. They give and absolutly stupendous job on the music for this game. Not to mention the fact that the sound effects for the battle are really lifelike. Whether it be a "Duck!" or a quick blast from an incoming grenade or rocket, they sure know how to make sure you knew it was coming. A ten out of ten goes to the sound for an outstanding and magnificent job.

Gameplay

Now we get to the exciting part of the game. Battlefront gives you the truly authentic excperience of what it must be like to fight in a battle in the Star Wars universe. The different classes you can pick allows you to constantly change your mind on who you should be. Also, each class is suited for different occasions. If a trench needs to be taken, bring out the light infantry unit that can easily mow down the incoming forces without having to worry about the slower rockets and such. If units far away are keeping you men from completing their objectives then strap on a sniper suit and start picking them off one-by-one. Whatever class suits you,use it. And if you are not the one for ground combat, then hop in a wide variety of vehicles that offer unique firepower for any difficulty at all. Turrets are accesible as well allowing you to stop incoming invaders from taking your base. There are also two different styles of winning. One is capturing all command posts on the map which squeezes all reinforcements out of the enemy. Another way to win is by elimination. Elimnate all troops and the enemy will give up the battlefield to you. The battles are never tiring and always fun because you can always play them in a different way. If you feel like being the hero or destroyer of the galaxy, try some of the features that they allow you to do. Galactic Conquest allows you to use your wits and strategy against the enemy so that you can conquer the whole galaxy.
Or if you feel like following the historical timeline of the Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War, then you can choose Historical Campaign an follow the wars like they were actually fought. Whatever you want to do, you can, which makes this game absolutely incredible for gameplay. I give Battlefront a ten out of ten for marvelous gameplay.

Lastability

This is the funniest thing. No matter how many games I play, I can always come back to this game and keep playing it. The game never dies on me. It always is interesting to see to see how the battle will turn out. With the many diverse classes and vehicles, the game never gets old. The outcome of the battle always depends on you. The last-man-standing always gets me excited as how if all reinforcements are gone, the game can be left to you to fight on your own. I can never get over the game and how good it truly is. Battlefront gets a ten out of ten from me.

Overall

Overall I give this game a nine out of ten. If you are looking for a game that doesn't cost a lot but gives you the satisfaction of playing for a long time then this is the game you will want to get. Battlefront is a truly worthy experience for a game. Join the forces of Battlefront. You must.
