In Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator money is essential to build the alchemy lab in the basement and create the Philosopher's Stone. In order to do so you need money to buy several expensive sets of parts and the way to do this in the game is by haggling which enables you to pay less to merchants.

You will be introduced to the haggling mini-game during the Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator tutorial. During the game if you are unsure of anything you simply have to hit the large button with the question mark on it on the haggling screen and the game will display a helpful diagram that shows all the same information on it. Haggling works the same way for merchants and customers, a good haggle is one that decreases the amount of money you have to pay the merchant for the item they are selling.

It is recommended that right before a haggle you save the game, if you do this it means you can reload and try again if a haggle attempt does not go in your favor. It is important to remember that you can end the haggle mini-game early by hitting one of the green panels on the sides of the field and if the haggle is difficult this may be the best way to get a good result.

Very Easy = 20% discount, no penalty cost for failure

Easy = 30% discount, 10% penalty for failure

Medium = 40% discount, 20% penalty for failure

Hard = 45% discount, 25% penalty for failure

Very Hard = 50% discount, 30% penalty for failure
