Interesting and Random Hints

Added:

I figured I'd just submit some amusing things all at once.

1.There is actually a unicorn in the game that can be ridden and everything. It is, however, very ugly and annoying. Drawing a weapon around it causes it to attack you, and if you dismount and someone else attacks, it will attack them. It went on a killing spree for me once, so I don't really recommend keeping it as a pet. If you do the quest from the daedric shrine of Hircine, he will send you out to kill it.

2.In your eternal quest for the elusive nirnroot, there are giant nirnroot's hidden around. They are very large, but only count as one root, so it's not really worth picking. They're much funner to look at!

3.Fin Gleam is a must for anyone that does not yet have any type of permanent water breathing apparatus. Its a helmet that gives the wearer water breathing, night eye, and detect life for 30 feet. Best yet, it's free! Just look on your map for a small island off the coast, a short distance North of Anvil. Go there and make your way to the center of the island. On the West coast of that island there is a large rock and a cliff. Dive off and head to the bottom. Its a long dark swim, but at the bottom there is a skeleton. Fin Gleam is on it! Take your prize and never fear drowning again.

4.If your a member of the thieves guild, you'll probably remember the name Amatus Allectus, the man who's diary you had to steal. He is a resident of the imperial city and has a rather strange secret. His basement contains lots of flowers and blood, and his diary explains he was attempting to make a vampire plant.

5.Skingrad may look rich and fancy, but it has some dark secrets. First of all is the fact that the count is a vampire. Secondly, there is a crazy man with paranoia roaming the streets, who will attempt to convince you to murder certain people, and if you fail to, he will do it himself. Third, one of the dark brotherhood quests takes place there, where you must murder 5 unsuspecting guests to a mansion "treasure hunt". Fourth, there is an actual haunted house. Nerastarel's house (across from the for sale house) is plagued by zombies and ghosts. There is really nothing of importance in there, but be warned, the ghouls will follow you out into town if you choose to run.

6. By holding bunches of grapes in front of sheep for a few minutes, they will follow you around. Pointless yet amusing!

7. If you spend enough time in jail, the guards will begin to recognize you. They might refer to you as buddy or hold full conversations. You might want to avoid Leyawiin though. They have some lovely torture chambers hidden beneath the castle. You'll get to see them if you ever do the thieves guild quests (which are totally worth it! Awesome plot and righteous rewards!)
