How the heck do you run?

Sounds noobish but I can not figure out how to unless "running"is just moving. I have seen Couriers Speeding around on horses and stuff but I never figured out how. Thanks in advance lol.

Comment:(Aug 9 2009) Lmao figures thanks lol. So Horses are faster than the one you get at Weynon Priory as well?

Walking is when you push the joystick a little bit forward, running is when you push it all the way forward.

You did run...all the time. The higher your speed, the faster you go. Your Athletics and Acrobat skill help out also.

Good point. But I just steal horses and kill people (because it's more fun that way!)

I Like doing that to, stealing horses is great, but the problem is the fact that gaurds in Oblivion are just so over-powered and awsome.

There isn't a special button for running. You can get faster by increasing your Speed or putting on enchanted items that increase Speed.

To answer your second question yes. The fastest horses are the black horses you can buy at the Cheydinhal stable but are also the most expensive at 5000 gold and are the second toughest. The first toughest are the white horses at the Anvil stable.

If you incrase your speed alot then you can run faster, and the fastest horse is shadowmere, you get it from dark brotherhood, it also can't be killed, only knocked whick makes it an exellent storage for your stuff(go to saerch when it's ko and you can put stuff in)
