I bieleve so it ends with kratos death by his hand but he has the soul of hades and also the dead keep wandering around.i bieleve he will be a higher existence and fight athena in some sort of other dimension.....who knows

Actually based off the way the game ending, there could be a 4 but not 4 per say more like spin-offs.

They've already said that God of War 3 will be the last game chronologically. There will, however, be more games that come between the first GoW and GoW3

God of war 3 was an end to god of war tiology but there will be new games of god of war so wait for it.

There could possibly be another God of War, being God of War IV, but there isn't any information at this time that would purpose that; seeing God of War III just released to PlayStation 3 a couple months ago. It's not out of the question and I am sure if they do it will be another great game for PlayStation 3.

i don't know guys but if you saw the ending... KRATOS jumped into the water,so it's like the producers of the game want to surprise us so I'm sure there's gonna be a God Of War 4.
