The Resient Evil team have once again made suvival horror games interesting once more. With all the dissapointments in recent years like Silent Hill 4: The Room i did\'nt expect much from Resident Evil 4 as i classed Survival Horror as a dying genre, however they have raised the bar substantially with Resident Evil 4. Unlike the origional stlye this game does not have a fixed camera position which improves the experience a lot. There are also no zombies so to speak they have been replaced by a whole new style of enemy who can now also weild weapons giving Resident Evil 4 a bit more of a first person shooter type theme. There are also a vast amount of different boss fight all with different ways to kill them strategy is important.

The targeting system has been improved there are of course sniper scopes for some weapons and heat seeking scopes are needed in later chapters, but most of your weapons will have a laser targeing system which allows you to use many stateagies to take down your enemies. if you find yourself facing a horde of enemies you can shoot the front few in the legs to make them stumble and then run up and kick them away from you to save ammo. There is a vast inventory of weapons and saving ammo really matters on the harder difficulty levels of the game.

You now also have an improved invnetory box which youc an expand by 3 sizes to allow you to carry more which you will be grateful of beleive me. there is also a merchant who will appear in different sections of the game and allow you to sell items like jewellery and buy new weapons or upgrade your old ones. He will also be the clerk at a few Shooting ranges throughout the game at which you can enter to win prizes and collectables.

All in all i give Resident Evil 4 10 out of 10 it is deffinately a must have for any Playstation 2 or gamecube owner. The graphics are superb and the atmosphere is intense you will not be dissapointed by it beleive me. By it, Play it , Love it. Happy Gaming.
