PRL 412
I have Beaten the game on Regular Mode, and Unlocked all the guns except the Hand Cannon. I saw that the PRL 412 was unlock able by just beating the game on professional. I erased my prior game due to space and just beat it on Pro, When I was done All it showed that was new was the Chigago T. Again, Infinite Rocket launcher, and the Matilda! I don't understand why the PRL 412 isnt available to me. Anyone have any Ideas?
Comment:(Jun 20 2008) Ok, I originally beat the game unlocking the launcher, beat it again to be able to afford it. Beat the game as Ada to unlock the Chigago Typewriter, bought that. After I figured out you can unlock the PRL 412 just by completing the game on Pro, I then erased my prior game since it wont let you switch difficulties after completing it.. So I started a Pro game (With Leon) and I just recieved the Infinite launcher and the Chigaco T. Again..
Comment:(Jun 23 2008) Well, I since I beat it on Pro and it unlocked the Infinite launcher and the Typewriter.. I decided I would beat it again on pro on the same file to see if it would unlock the PRL 412 finally.
Just beat it again, and No PRL :(

The problem is that you erased your game on regular and therfore can not buy it from the merchant.My advise would be to beat the game on normal again and try to buy it then.

Wrong, how many times you beat the game on normal, you won't get the PRL 412.
What game did you say you played? Did you played Ada's storyline? If you did, and finished it, then you get the chicago typewrither.
If you really have played the game as Leon on professional mode, then you really have a strange game.

Are you sure that you beat the game on professional mode? If you actually did complete on the game on the professional difficulty, then you should have unlocked the P.R.L laser cannon 412. Go into the special menu, and play the bonus storyline mission called 'Separate Ways' and beat that mode as Ada. After you do, you should then unlock Leon's Gangster Costume, Ashley's Knight outfit, and the Chicago Typewriter. Beat the game on regular difficulty again and then beat the game once again on professional difficulty. If you have done it once, then you should be able to do it again. I recommend you beat Ada's storyline because the Knight suit will be invaluable for you in Pro mode.

The P.R.L. Is only available on the PS2. If you've got Gamecube, then your out of luck

Ok, what you do is beat the game on normal, DONT ERASE THAT FILE, start another on pro and beat it. It should say "You have unlocked the P.R.L 412.Begin another game on the same profile and you will get it free from the merchant." Or something like that.

all i did was that i beat it on normal (did not erase) and then beat on pro and it was on both nor and pro

the P.R.L. 412 laser cannon is only available on the PS2 and Wii versions (pc version maybe?), here's what i did more or less, beat the game on normal once, to unlock pro mode, mercenaries etc, then i beat separate ways and assignment ada, to unlock the gangster and knight costumes, as well as the CT for both Leon and Ada, then started a game on pro mode and after beating saddler and escaping you should get a notication telling you the infinite rocket launcher, matilda, and P.R.L. 412 was unlocked

You can get p.r.l 412 after beat professional mode then load game chose new game pro and will appear an merchandise then got weapon the you see p.r.l 412 resident evil 4 is availabe on pc I beat this on my pc I got all weapon on leon and unlockbles this game it's really best action games.

The problem may be that you have a version that doesn't have the PRL.

Get to the typewriter before the last battle on pro and save on another file or maybe another memory card and if you beat it engugh you can get it (keep going back and kill saddeler
