Tips for Resident Evil 4 PRO MODE

Hey guys I am wanting to get every single gun in resident evil 4 that is a special, I unlocked it all including the Handcannon but I just can't get past the part where the foundtain is with all the gothic los illuminados, Ashley dies fast any tips? I have loads of ammo and stuff also but I still manage dying.

Try using a
1. Tmp
2. Riot shotgun...

And never use
1. The freaky laser gun
2. Handgun
3 sniper rifle
4. Rocket launcher

And obviously...

5. A knife.

Alright, I will see if I can help you as I have some tips for you. The first thing you should ask yourself is, is there a safe area before the fountain area where I can tell Ashley to wait so that she will not get hurt? If you are talking about that other fountain area in Salazar's castle where you have to protect Ashley while she turns the two wheels, then I suggest for you to kill everyone coming after you first. Use your Sniper Rifle, and kill around you so that you will not get hit, now shoot everyone coming after Ashley. If you go stand on the end of that platform on the right side where you are guarding Ashley, like where you are going to fall into the water, then you will have a good view of both sides of the bridge and you will see a new enemy whenever they appear. Heal Ashley and yourself beforehand. If you are hurt, use a Herb on Leon. Or, use it on Ashley if you need to. Also, remember Professional mode is really hard, if you want to kill every enemy quickly, then you must aim for their head everytime. Not their arm, leg, or even their chest, you must aim for their head. If you ever kill someone and a giant bug pops out of their head then use a flash grenade, it will kill the plagas instantly. Okay that covered it all but i'll just tell you somemore. Go to the place where the platform rises so that you can see Ashley aswell as the guys coming for you. Take out your sniper and kill the people coming for ashley. Try to keep the aim on the back of Ashley so that as soon as they pick her up you can shoot them. Make sure you kill the people coming towards you first and also if you see a foe jumping of the platform shoot them so that instead of jumping they fall. In pro mode it's best to use her knight armour so that they can't pick her up.

Special costum 2,ashley is in armor.they can't hert her , or pick her up. Shot them as they try.

you proberbly arnt looking at this now and if you are youve proberbly gotten past it but for all you others stuck on this ill try to help Ok first the door you enter through you can enter back through and the number of ganados will stay as you left them so kill some then run back through the door the ones alive will spawn where they first started the ones you have killed dont respawn at all. There is also a little safe area at the bottom of the stairs however i wouldn't recomend leaving ashely alone for a long period of time (ganados can only come from the door or the hole in the roof) Well hope i helped good luck

beat ada's story line and get ashley into the knight costume by beating ada's story line thing and you will get special 2 and that is the one with the knight armor and the people cant pick she up or do any thing to her so she cant get hurt.

Well,if you did beat the game you should be able to get leon's costumes.IF you pick costume 2 ashely will get a armor suit that protects her from any thing RPGs,Chicago type writer nothing will kill her.if your worrried about them taking ashely that won't happen cause she is so friggin heavy the enemies will just fall to the ground.you might have to start from the begging just to change to that costume.HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Problem is that for some reason the typewriter isn't unlocked on first time pro. But other than that make it easier on yourself and play seperate ways. That way you unlock the knight armor for ashley and can use all of the yellow herbs on yourself instead of ashley.

Unlock special costume 2 then play pro. It gives ashley the knight costume which helps 10 fold
