How do I unlock the wide body?

Well in career mode wise you have to do something like 12 odd Outruns or something before you do the final race against Caleb. Eventually check your SMS messages inbox to see if an Event for it has shown up.
If your status completion menu (press down direction) says 100% for Unlocked stuff you probably have it in Customization.

End the career and they will be unlocked.It is not neccasary to complete 100% game.
