Question for Need for Speed Underground 2

Help! Whenever I go in a menu, it keeps scrolling up like I'm pressing the up key! I tried everything, restarted the game, restarted the comp, tried in compatibility and admin mode, I've even checked Google and I can only find results where people had Joysticks plugged in their comp and on unplugging it worked for them, except I don't have ANYTHING else plugged in my computer other than my mouse and keyboard, and the problem isn't from that because I've even tried unplugging them and the problem still persists!
