After the scene where sonya is kidnapped by Baraka and when u join johnny cage killing the takartans. You see a health upgrade. Next to the health upgrade there should be a pair of kamas and a short sword.

After you help johny cage to open the gates,go to the point where you joined him and there you will see a health upgrade whre the sword and katana is
