Go outside the city to where you had to turn the water back on and then kill them and reap the benefits

Go to a place where there is alot of metal heads like the place where the big red ship takes you or mountain temple and kill all the metal heads and get the gems when there all dead leave the place then go right back in and they will be there again.keep doing it till you have enough gems.
