I was just wondering (again) that do you get a better rod from the fisher dude (i forgot his name) if you do then how do you do it? Cause I caught lots a fish but I thought I saw it somewere... :)

You'll have better rod made by the scientist that worked in the tools-shop (near the florist) but better be friend with the scientist and the fisher dude first, and the final rod is when you already have the second rod and also when you be friended with the carpenter apprentice. If you already have kitchen, then the fisher dude likes homecooking fish (fish+frying pan), the scientist love egg dishes like sunny side up (egg+frying pan), and the carpenter apprentice likes tomatoes.
