You just go to the box with the face on and search through it and you will be pushed up and go on from there and frget about the ghoul.
You need to be facing the ghoul and you need to shine Lumos at him.
The creature does not like it and he will back off into the little room behind him and a door will close.
Then another door will open and you go through there to complete the rest of the level.
