pick up the scord and when you are in front of it press triangle, circle, or square and the snake rises up and spits ventom everywhere, dodge it and cast the spell again and hit it on the diamond. one -fourth of its life is gone. repeat this four times.
(the scord is a spell)

Pick up the sword of gryffindor and press either of the three buttons: triangle, circle or square. The basilisk will rise up and spit venom everywhere, you'll see that under it's head on the inner side of his body that there will be a diamond, press R1 to target the diamond and press again, either of the three: triangle, circle of square.
