Hi!

I just received the Expelliamus spellbook and now I am facing the Gargoyle.

I am using Expelliamus spell to defend myself and have inflicted harm on the Gargoyle.

However, I keep using the spell and keep hitting the Gargoyle, but nothing is happening. The Gargoyle's health meter went down after I hit him the first 4 or 5 times....but now every time he gets hit, his health meter doesn't change at all.

Is there something I'm missing or something else I need to do? I read the walkthrough for this part of the game and it said after you hit him 9 times (total), he'll blow up---but that's not happening and I've hit him more than 9 times already.

Help!
