You can actually do it, but I've only been able to at the very beginning when you first start out the hunting mission with Ned. Right when the mission starts look to the right andn you'll see two smaller rocks in the river. Walk between them in the river and enter the code, you might have to enter it several times. You hold down all the buttons R1,R2,L1,L2, and x at the same time, I haven't heard any wierd sound. If done correctly, there should be a new option in the options area of the main menu called "GUN". Now you can play any mission, including their checkpoints and the side missons. It even gives you a "toggle help" option which, if you didn't play through the game first, will give you the weapons needed to complete a mission. Problem is you can't keep those weapons, you can keep your weapons though if you turn the help option off. Save it if you wish but the option will dissapear once you leave the game.
