Question for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Why do all the gang members try to kill me when ever I walk away they just start shooting.

Are there any cheats to stop this because I don't want to stand by a cop through the whole game.

I just started playing today so if you have any ideas or cheats please post them here.

Thank you

You recruted a gang member and you leave him and he starts shooting you? That happened to me because if you listen to a phone call from Sweet after the mission "Ryder" he says that the Seville Boulevard Families and the Temple Drive Families that worked with the Grove Street Families have split apart. That means that you should assume that thugs wearing green are friendly. So your basically enimies. For now.

This lock your wanted level so you can do anything and not get a wanted star: Circle, Right, Circle, Right, Left, Square, Triangle, Up.
This one is for unlimited ammo which can help: L1,R1,square,R1,left,R2,R1,left,square,down,L1,L1

No, there isn't a cheat I know of. If you have just started the game, all the gang members hate you. The whole of the first island is ruled by different gangs so your gang members shouldn't shoot you (dressed in green) if they do earn their respect by doing the gang missions, but the other gang member will.(dressed in purple and yellow). The only way to stop this happening when completing the game is to start a turf war, then stay alive through the three waves and the turf will be yours. (However other gangs will try to take over your turf so put up a fight.)

Harlem1000 answered:

Ey are shooting at you because you are in their territory. You have to complete the mission "Doberman" to see the territories. Then you take over those territories and they will be no more gangs shooting at you. Peace!

There are no ways to stop that. They're part of enemy gangs. You'll have to avoid them if you want to stay alive. It's just part of the difficulty in this game. Green = Good.
