Yes they do!!!!! It messed my game up and I had to start over.
Some cheats(for example,comit suicide,wheather cheats,and any car cheats)
will mess it up on its own.But if your going to do them your best advice is to not cheat anymore around 2,000 times.It takes about a mounth to mess
it up.IT will get will werid and start pauseing a lot and staff.But when you beat the game its all over.Go back and delete any save file you cheated on and start over.

I play San Andreas on Xbox I used a lot of cheats lines were on my TV color was changing what dpo I do

Whoever said that if you do over 2000 cheats your game will mess up is wrong, because I have cheated 3411 times and my game never freezes or anything.

I have never tried a cheat on my games so please tell me if it dose screw up my games before I do it:-)

Yes they can I would advise you to NOT use them because I did and I got to 93%.
Then the game just crashed so I had to delete the memory from my memory card and I'm only just on the second island.

I have put in so many cheats and then saved my game so many times.

Yes they do. It is horrible. I did five cheats, and my save file went corrupt. I couldnt load it. I had been playing for a month and I was in Las Venturas. Now im back in Los Santos. But I look on the bright side. I havent died yet, I have more money, and I got more tags than last time.

I know I already answerd your question. But look dude, Rockstar games built in a system in the game that will corrupt your game if some cheats are entered.
So the peaple like Rip Easy E don't know what there saying.
It doesn't always mess it up but its a 50 50 chance.
So my middle finger goes up to rockstar games for that.
It messed my file up.
Take it from me dude!
I won't lie to you unless I'm high or something.

I've messed up as well and it wont continue so it happens and I have seen my friends do cheats on it and beat the game so there is always a chance.

It's the Pedestrian cheats that screw up the game only. As far as I know, all other cheats are safe to use. Don't be retarded. The issue with the pedestrian cheats is that they cause issues in certain missions, such as Madd Dogg.

Yes it messes up your game. I advise you to use them after beating the Madd Dogg mission in Las Venturas.
