Question for Final Fantasy X

I need to know a good strategy to beat neslug at the monster arena, it's the only monster I need to beat to get nemisis. I could kill it no problem if it wouldent keep going in it's shell and healing constantly.

Your best bet would be to fight him untill he goes into his shell, then when he is, keep doublecasting ultima on him. If you attack with physical attacks he heals alot more, it will take a while but just keep doublecasting ultima on him...Plus he breaks out of his shell for a third form but it's easy...HE DOESNT HEAL ALOT WHEN YOU USE MAGICS!!!

Neslug has 4 million HP,after suffering 2 mil. Damage he will retreat into his shell making physical attacks practically useless,it will also heal itself by using auto-Regen,silence and dispel will not prevent it.Once Neslug is down to 1 million HP,the shell will crumble.A recipe for swift success is to start of with Wakka using his Attack Reel(depending on your stats,this could mean 12x99,9999 damage points)followed by Quick-Hits,again inflicting maximum damage.If possible,Lulu's Doublecast Ultima and Holy are also effective.
