How many dark matters you need to get break damage limit, and where do..

You need 60 dark maters to get break damage limit, that can take a long time so you are probably better off defeating enemies in the monster arena.

The dark aeons to recieve weapons that already have break damage limit on them.

An even better solution is to get everyones celestial weapons, crests and sigils then upgrade them, then everyone will have break damage limit (and more) and so will your aeons.

You need 60 for break damage limit and 99 for ribbon.

There's 4 ways to get them:

1.Beat the dark aeons (rare) and if your lucky you'll get 1 (2 for overkill)

2.Beat area, species or originals at the monster arena (rare) you win 1 (2 for overkill)

3. Capture 5 of everything and talk to the monster arena man and he will give you 99 (can only be done once)

4. They sometimes show as a prize in blitzball but I've only ever seen it once and I play the game a lot.

I'm pretty sure that you need 60 and you can get dark matters by fighting various area conquest, species conquest (or whatever its called), or origanal monsters.

You may want to try stealing it from some of them too but only if you have the pick pocket ability or you'll only get crummy items.

You need 60 Dark Matter in order to get Break Damage Limit like suggested above. I find it easiest to get Auron’s and Wakka’s Celestial Weapons and farm enough XP to get them stronger. Then, have Auron at 1HP (since he does 216% damage at that health) and fight One Eye. It takes a long time, but you’ll farm a shitload of Gil as well so it’s a win-win. I’ve farmed mil Gil and only have 15 DM, so you’ll have well over 10 million. (PS, have Yuna cast Auto-Life on either Wakka or Auron, preferably Wakka, and keep doing so until you can beat One-Eye and get some triple AP to farm EXP.)
