What is up in the top left corner of the CALM LANDS I notices a path but everytime I go down it some guy says something and pushes me back. What is down there and how do I get there?

You have to beat that Chocobo woman in a race and that man blocking the way will move to the enterance near Macalania Woods (he moves back once you leave the calm lands). If you have the celestial mirror then you can get tidus's celestial weapon by examining the mark on the wall apart from that theres nothing there.
