tips to beat the anti magic machine

I'm portuguese and I cannot write very well english, please try to understand me. Are you talking about that freaking al bhed's machina? How that took me 13 times! Well, first, your party should be wakka,kimahri and tidus. Use wakka with the ball and kimahri with the ability lancet to destroy the negator, while tidus strike the machina, when negator's destroyed, use ifrit, but be sure he have overdrive and use hellfire on machina. . .if your aeon die, use lulu and kimahri thunderthundarathundaga, this will stop mana beam, when the negator is restored, restart again, using this sequence. Have fun ;)

You should use your Wakka Kimahri and Rikku to take out the anti magic machine, then once you kill it switch to your strongest hitters or use an aeon to take heavey damage from him. When he is about to use mana beam if you have an aeon out and use shield it will take hardley nothing away from him then just keep and if you run out of aeons use lulu either that or you could do what I did and just level up my tidus all my other guys exept lulu sucked but my tidus could take 9999 away so I did not need to use aeons.

If I were you I would leave the anti-magic thing alive because it stops the beam that the big machina fires then just hammer away at it with tidus wakka and the guy with the big sword that's with you at the beggining of the game

The 3 I usually use r wakka,Tidus,and Auron (because the r the characters with 1,000HP+) but it's all up to you but you should stalk up on A LOT of items there's a guy who walks out of the inn talk to him and he'll sell you weapons and items. Might as well walk in there too after you buy and sell you're stuff remember the boss will be strong and the floaty thingy DON'T KILL IT! If it is alive he only has 2 attacks. Good Luck!

If you want to get rid of the anti negator (anti-magic thing) then you use Rikku's items(special>use>item) and Wakka's ball. Then see if you can get Yuna into overdrive and 'grand summon' Ixion because the machina is weak to thunder and use the overdrive (remember to use shield when the machina is about to use mana beam.) If your aeons die use lulu's thundera, Yuna (to heal) and Kimahri. Or don't kill the negator and concentrate on attacking the main machina(this may take longer but would be more effective then the previous method if your Tidus, Auron etc are higher levels than Lulu and Yuna since physical attacks will be more effective than magic anyway.)

[b]Well I would use hard hitters first but use wakka and rikku to destroy the anti magic thing, and the beam don't really worry about it but on the second turn summon an aeon and try to keep it alive as long as you can but make sure the beam hits the aeon not your people. And just keep doin that and also use haste on everyone in yur party so they get lots of turns and once the nectator comes back then you don't need to destroy it again so use rikku only for a couple minutes use 2 grenades (NOT 3) and make sure that your sphere grid is nice and leveled up and items too now just use a whole bunch of hard hitters and just focus on the machina ok,
