Question for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2

What does "Appeal" mean. On certain items (namely yellow and purple items/potaras) the discription reads either "If you successfully appeal near your opponent..." or "If you could appeal near your opponent..." What do I have to do to "Appeal"?

I found out myself. It means Taunt. If you're holding the correct item and you taunt near the opponent, preferably when they're down, the item's effect will activate. (Near the opponent means very close to him/her).
